The Institute of Dentistry in Bihar was established on April 14, 1990, as a tribute to Bharat Ratna Late Baba-Saheb Ambedkar, who dedicated his life to the welfare of the underprivileged. It is the first institute of its kind in the north-east region, providing vocational training in Dentistry.
