MGM (Mahatma Gandhi Missions) Medical College, one of India’s most prestigious colleges, was established in 1990 through the efforts of Hon. Dr. K. K. Kadam and his colleagues. It is located in Aurangabad and is widely recognized as the ideal place for all MBBS students to acquire a high-quality medical education.

This university is connected with the MGM Institute of Health Sciences (Deemed University). This college has been providing high-quality education for many years. MBBS students know this college as MGM Medical College Aurangabad.

The College’s hospital has 1000 beds and is well-equipped. It contains 82 intensive care beds, 13 futuristic operating theatres with advanced equipment, and specialist outpatient consultation suites, with the goal of offering inexpensive and high-quality medical healthcare services.Other facilities available to students include accommodation, infrastructure, clinical exposure, and more.

MGMIHS was granted Deemed University status under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956, in 2006. In 2014, NAAC approved MGM IHS as a Deemed University with an A rating (3.07 CGPA on a four-point scale).

This university welcomes both undergraduate and postgraduate students to pursue their chosen studies. Initially, the MGM medical college had a total intake capacity of 100 MBBS admissions, but it has since increased to 150 MBBS students.
