The institution is promoted by the Jain Sarvodaya Vidhya Gyanpith Samiti, a charitable society comprising eminent personalities from various professional fields. MIMS is affiliated with Barkatullah University, Bhopal, and offers undergraduate (MBBS) and postgraduate medical programs
